Usk Show, Monmouthshire Rebrand and Website

We are really excited to announce our latest website going live – for the local Farmer’s Club annual event Usk Show. OK, so it’s not strictly foodie, but very close (food comes from agriculture, right?) and we’re too excited not to blog about it!

Our sister company Creating Media was chosen out of 4 local designers who pitched to the committee to completely rebrand the Usk Show – like many agricultural shows they were very behind the times in terms of branding and online presence.

We created a gorgeous logo for them incorporating the show marquee, a tree and little figures to represent the various aspects of the show – a family day out as well as competition for sheep, cattle and horses. The theme also contains some lovely colourful bunting, and the iconic agricultural show ribbon. All in all it’s a bang up to date logo with some great design, which should stay beautiful for many years to come.

We also created their stationery suite, for which we took the bunting theme from the logo and carried it through to create a visually attractive sense of brand consistency. This bunting theme also continues on the website, where we have a countdown right at the top to the next show. This will help to create a sense of excitement and buzz around the show. We’ve also incorporated a CMS (content management system) which allows the committee members to add new text, pictures and entry forms to the website each year as the festival continues to evolve.
