Umami are thrilled to be helping with the launch of an exciting new product – Frumtious. We were approached by Ben Smith to create the branding and brand guidelines after a referral from another client.
We quickly came up with a range of logos for the real fruit product, trying to capture the young and fresh feel of the product and the team behind it, Ben being a young entrepreneur himself, and showed him lots of different ideas. The favourite by far was the ‘splat’ concept, which we then produced in the various different ‘flavours’ of Frumtious.
Next we designed stationery suite, including letterhead and business card. We used the splat element as a watermark, and bulletpoint.
We also created a social-media-ready version of the logo, a nice square format perfect for use as an avatar, and an email signature.
Finally, the brand guideline document specifying exactly how the logo should be used, and the standard layout for various aspects of brand collateral.
We will also be designing the packaging labels for the product once final packaging suppliers are chosen – then the product will be ready for launch into retailers across the UK! It is always exciting to see our packaging on the shelves so we are really looking forward to launch day!
